Gobb e il Natale imperfetto

The Return of the Silver Monster

There is a moment at Christmas when everything seems to stand still. Streets and homes are dressed in festive lights, laughter intertwines, and even those who have always felt out of place find, for a brief moment, their own space in the world. It is in this magical setting that Gobb, DONE!’s silver monster, returns, ready to rediscover the joy of feeling part of something.

Last year, Gobb was a “Grinch with a misunderstood heart”: envious of others’ happiness, he stole DONE! backpacks not out of spite, but because he had realized how much they could make the recipients happy. Behind his quirks lay a simple desire: to belong and be accepted, no matter what.

A Christmas Dinner Full of Surprises

This year, everything is different. After meeting Trinity, a kind-hearted young volunteer, Gobb is introduced to a group of friends and decides to host his first Christmas dinner. Between brightly colored jellies, octopus punch, and presents wrapped in Gobb’s unmistakable style, the evening initially seems destined for disaster. But when Trinity opens her gift and finds a DONE! backpack inside, time seems to stand still: the monster who was once an outsider finally becomes part of the group.

DONE!’s Christmas campaign celebrates imperfection as a value, reminding us that kindness, empathy, and authenticity are true forms of strength. Gobb represents those who choose not to hide their vulnerabilities, transforming them into a bridge toward others. The message is clear: step out of your comfort zone, approach the world with curiosity and openness, and believe that diversity is a treasure. Changing does not mean becoming someone else, but learning to show yourself as you are: authentic, imperfect, and true.
